Scope Property Partners, a newly established specialist industrial and logistics real estate brokerage firm, has launched in Melbourne, bringing together senior‑led expertise to support developers, landowners and investors across complex property transactions.
Founded by Matt Alderman, Anthony Cannizarro and Mario Moscon, Scope Property Partners combines complementary senior‑level experience across transaction execution, client‑side transaction management and operational leadership. From the outset, the focus has been on building a business that is positioned for growth.
Scope Property Partners represents landowners, developers, occupiers, and investors. Operating through a property lifecycle model, the firm engages early in the decision‑making process, remains closely involved at critical stages and provides consistent senior oversight from initial strategy through to transaction completion.
Co-founders Anthony and Mario join Scope Property Partners following senior leadership careers at global real estate firms JLL and Savills, where both held Senior Director‑level roles advising on industrial and logistics transactions, development site sales and structured marketing campaigns.
“Working within large organisations provides invaluable discipline and market exposure,” Anthony said. “Scope Property Partners allows us to apply that experience within a more flexible business while remaining closely involved in each engagement.”
Mario said the firm’s structure enables broad market capability without diluting senior accountability.
“Our model allows us to operate across Melbourne’s core industrial markets while maintaining hands‑on involvement throughout the transaction process,” he said. “Clients benefit from continuity, experience and clear leadership at every stage.”
Founder Matt Alderman brings a complementary perspective through his background in client‑side transaction management. Formerly a Transaction Manager at Cadence, Matt was responsible for the acquisition and divestment of development sites and built‑form assets across multiple markets.
“Having worked across multiple seats at the table, I’ve seen firsthand where value is created and where friction can emerge,” Matt said. “That experience allows us to engage earlier, stay close to the detail and bring the right parties together to achieve stronger outcomes for clients.”
Further strengthening the business, Rita Montalto has been appointed Business Operations Lead. Montalto brings more than 20 years’ experience across leading commercial property teams, most recently supporting the Colliers industrial leadership group across Melbourne’s north and west.
Jamie Buxton General Manager of Commercial and Industrial at MAB said, “We value the track record and relationships of the people we work with, not just the agency brand. Backing Scope as its first client was a very easy decision for us.”
Scope Property Partners is structured to operate wherever client requirements dictate. While initial activity is expected to focus on Melbourne’s north and west, the firm is equally positioned to service other core industrial markets, including the south‑east.
With senior leadership, and a clearly defined property lifecycle model in place, Scope enters the market focused on building enduring client relationships and delivering consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
